Frozen Fruit Salad

  • 5 ripe bananas
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 2/3 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, chopped (2/3 c.)
  • reserved juice from cherries
  • 2 (16 oz.) containers dairy sour cream

Directions

    Mash bananas in large bowl; add drained pineapple, sugar, lemon juice, chopped cherries and the cherry juice.

    Stir until well blended; fold in sour cream and chopped pecans.

    Blend well. Turn mixture into 10-cup ring mold; cover with aluminum foil and freeze 8 hours until firm.

    Unmold on plate.
