Frozen Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large can fruit cocktail
  • 16 marshmallows, cut up
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 eggs, beaten or 3 yolks
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 pt. cream

Directions

    Drain the fruit cocktail.

    Add the marshmallows to the drained fruit.

    Combine in top of a double boiler, over boiling water, the vinegar, egg or egg yolks and sugar.

    Cook until mixture is thickened. Cool, then fold into fruit mixture. Whip, the cream and fold into mixture.
