- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 12 cup butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons sugar, divided
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup smuckers cherry jam
- 1 cup dried cranberries or 1 cup dried cherries
- 34 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions

1In bowl, beat cream cheese with butter until fluffy; beat in 1 tablespoons sugar.

2Stir in flour in 2 additions.

3Divide dough in half; shape each half into a rectangle.

4Wrap and refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.

5Place jam, and dried fruit in food processor and process until finely choped.

6Stir in chopped walnuts.

7Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.

8Sprinkle work surface with half sugar-cinnamon mixture.

9Place 1 rectangle dough on top of the sugar mixture, with floured rolling pin, roll out dough into 12x8-inch rectangle.

10Spread with half jam mixture and starting at the long side, roll into tight log.

11Cut into 1/2-inch thick slices (discarding ends) and place on parchment lined baking sheets.

12Repeat with remaining sugar mixture, dough and filling.

13Bake at 350F for about 24 minutes or until golden.

14Cool in pans on racks.

15Store in air-tight containers.
