Fruit Cake Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 lb. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 lb. chopped fruit
  • 1/2 lb. pineapple (red and green), cut up fine
  • 1/2 lb. green cherries
  • 1/2 lb. red cherries
  • 1 lb. white raisins
  • 1 c. apple brandy

Directions

    Cream butter and add both sugars, salt, soda and then eggs. Mix flour with chopped fruit and nuts.

    Add the fruit mixture to batter, then add brandy and mix well.

    Drop by teaspoon (very small amount) on greased cookie sheet and bake at 250° for 20 to 25 minutes (do not brown).

    Can use 2 pounds of mixed chopped fruit.
