- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 1 c. flour, sifted
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 can unsweetened fruit (peaches, pineapple, pears or anything you like, but unsweetened)
Directions

1Melt butter or oleo in baking dish.

2Combine flour with 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder and milk.

3Pour over melted butter.

4Pour fruit over batter, with juice; sprinkle with sugar.

5Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
