  • 1/2 c. butter or oleo
  • 1 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 can unsweetened fruit (peaches, pineapple, pears or anything you like, but unsweetened)

Directions

    Melt butter or oleo in baking dish.

    Combine flour with 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder and milk.

    Pour over melted butter.

    Pour fruit over batter, with juice; sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
