- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 (No. 2) can fruit or 2 c. fresh fruit
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. juice, if canned or 1/2 c. water, if fresh
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Sift dry ingredients and add milk. Beat until smooth.

3Pour into 2-quart casserole.

4Mix fruit, sugar and juice.

6Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes, until light brown on top.
