  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (No. 2) can fruit or 2 c. fresh fruit
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. juice, if canned or 1/2 c. water, if fresh

    Sift dry ingredients and add milk. Beat until smooth.

    Pour into 2-quart casserole.

    Mix fruit, sugar and juice.
