  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. fruit cocktail (including liquid)
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix and cream first 5 ingredients.

    Pour into lightly greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch deep cake pan.

    Mix the brown sugar and nuts together and sprinkle onto the batter.

    Place in oven and bake at 325° for 40 minutes.

    Spread icing on cake while hot.
