  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons Margarine (butter works fine too)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup plus 2 TBL. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Cream together sugar and margarine

    Add the egg and lemon juice, mix together.

    Blend in flour, baking powder, and salt.

    Divide into separate balls, depending on how many you want.

    Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.

    Take out when the edges are barely turning golden brown.

    Allow to cool, top with whipped cream and fruit slices.
