- 1/2 c. dried prunes
- 1/2 c. dried apricots
- 1/2 c. currants
- 2 c. hot water
- 1 apple, pared and diced
- 1 orange, cut in half
- 1 c. any unsweetened fruit juice
- 1/2 c. dried pears
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. sago or tapioca
Directions

1Soak the dried fruits in the hot water at least 6 hours.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Simmer over low heat 1 hour.

4Stir often to prevent scorching.

5Serve hot or cold with cream.
