- 3/4 c. milk
- dash of salt
- 1 Tbsp. Karo syrup or molasses
- 2 c. sugar
Directions

1Bring to a rolling boil until soft ball forms in cold water (10 to 12 minutes).

2Do not overcook.

3Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine.

4Stir until creamy smooth (approximately 1 minute).

5Pour into buttered plate.
