  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. chopped pecans (1 c. finely chopped and 1 c. coarsely chopped)

    Melt butter and cocoa in pot.

    Set aside.

    Beat 4 eggs.

    Add sugar.

    Beat until creamy.

    Sift flour into eggs and sugar.

    Add vanilla, pecans, melted butter and cocoa.

    Bake at 350° to 375° for 25 to 35 minutes.

    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and lined with wax paper.
