  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Melt margarine in heavy saucepan. Add sugar and cocoa. (Mix these 2 before adding.) Add milk, eggs and vanilla and stir well. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° and bake 20 to 25 minutes, until crust is brown and pie sets or toothpick comes out clean when put in center of pie.
