- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- dash of salt
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a saucepan combine sugar, cocoa and salt.

2Blend in water, stirring until cocoa powder is dissolved.

3Add evaporated milk and bring to boiling.

4Boil gently for 3 to 4 minutes, until sauce thickens, stirring frequently.

5Remove from heat; stir in margarine and vanilla.

6Makes 1 cup of sauce.

7Serve warm or cold over ice cream.
