  • 34 cup butter or 34 cup margarine
  • 34 granulated sugar
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 unsweetened chocolate squares (2oz)
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
