- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. milk
- 4 c. sifted flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- fat or oil (for deep frying)
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Beat eggs with milk; gradually beat in flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

2Beat until very smooth.

3Holding the opening of a funnel closed, fill funnel with the batter.

4Open the end of the funnel; let dough run out in a stream into deep, hot fat (375°). Move the funnel to make a pattern, starting at the center of the pan and swirling batter outward in a circle.

5Fry 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown.

6When cakes are done, drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.

7Very delicious.
