  • 4 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. grits
  • salt to taste
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 stick garlic cheese
  • 2 eggs and milk (refer to directions)
  • cornflakes, crumbled

Directions

    Combine water, grits and salt. Cook until grits are done. Add margarine and stir until melted. Add garlic cheese and stir until melted. Beat 2 eggs in a 1-cup measuring cup and add milk to fill that cup. Add to the grits mixture. Pour into a buttered casserole and cover with crumbled cornflakes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Should serve 12.
