- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 4 level tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 lb. pecans (to suit your taste)
- 1 c. raisins (to suit your taste)
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar well.

2Add yolks of eggs and beat well. Add dry and then liquid ingredients, small amounts at a time.

3Then add nuts and raisins and last fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake 1 hour at 375°.

4Sprinkle 10x sugar on top after baking.
