German Chocolate Pie

- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 14 oz. pkg. German sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Melt chocolate with margarine in small pan.

2Remove from heat and add milk.

3Separately combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

4Gradually add to chocolate mixture. Stir in coconut and pecans.

5Pour into pie shell.

6Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.

7Cool for several hours.
