- 1 (10-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 pkg. German chocolate
- 1 2/3 c. canned milk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Melt chocolate and butter over low heat.

2Gradually blend in milk.

3Add to sugar mixture.

4Add eggs, vanilla, coconut and nuts. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 375°.

5It will be puffed and brown. Filling may be soft, but will set while cooling.

6Cool at least 4 hours before cutting.
