- 1 (4 oz.) German sweet chocolate
- 1 2/3 c. can cream
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
Directions

1In saucepan, melt chocolate with butter over low heat.

2Stir until well blended.

3Remove from heat after chocolate is completely melted.

4In a mixing bowl, mix sugar and cornstarch; beat in eggs and add vanilla.

5Mix well.

6Gradually blend in chocolate mixture. Stir until well mixed.

7Pour into pie shell.

8Mix pecans and coconut; sprinkle over filling.

9Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until top is puffed.
