- 2 sticks butter, cut into chunks
- 1 (4 oz.) bar German chocolate, cut into chunks
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Place butter and chocolate bar in microwave-safe bowl.

3Microwave on High for 1 minute; stir and microwave 1 minute more, if needed.

4Set aside.

5In large bowl, combine eggs, flour, sugar and salt; mix lightly.

6Stir in chocolate mixture, vanilla and pecans.

7Pour batter into muffin cups and bake about 30 minutes, or until cupcakes test done. Makes 24.
