- 1 head red cabbage
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 1 large apple, sliced
- 3 whole cloves
Directions

1Slice cabbage fine.

2In a pan, add oil and fry onion until soft.

3Add water, vinegar and apple; simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour. Add cloves the last 1/2 hour.

4Taste for seasoning.

5Blend with small amount of cornstarch or flour.

6Serve with Rouladen and potato dumplings.
