Ingredients

  • 1 large head red cabbage or both, shredded
  • 2 regular or 1 Bermuda onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Put first 3 ingredients in bowl; pour sugar over top.

    Mix next 6 ingredients in saucepan, bring to a boil and pour over cabbage.

    Store in refrigerator (will keep for months).
