- 1 to 2 lb. chicken strips
- 1 medium piece of ginger
- garlic salt
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 medium onion
- 1 pkg. pea pods
- 12 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms
- soy sauce to taste
- water
- flour
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Cook chicken in vegetable oil with ginger (cut ginger into small pieces) and garlic salt.

2Add onion and mushrooms and cook until done.

3Add water chestnuts and pea pods and heat through. Add water and flour combined to make a thick sauce.

4Add soy sauce. Serve with rice.
