- 3 teaspoons ground ginger
- 100 g caster sugar
- 50 g margarine
- 3 tablespoons golden syrup
- 4 tablespoons milk

1Heat oven to Gas mark 3.

2Place flour, salt and ginger in a suitable mixing bowl.

3Warm sugar, fat and syrup together and add to the dry ingredients, mix well.

4Add milk and mix to a firm consistency, Knead lightly with hands.

5Roll out and cut out with a ginger bread man cutter.

8Mark the eyes with currants and put some down the body to pose as buttons.
