- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 c. molasses
- 6 c. bread flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. ginger
- 2 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and molasses.

2Stir dry ingredients and add.

3Chill.

4Roll out not too thin.

5Bake at 350° until dry, not crisp.

6Makes enough dough to make one small castle or many shaped cookies.
