- 150 g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 12 teaspoons ground ginger
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 12 cup sour cream
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup golden syrup or 12 cup treacle
- 125 g butter, diced
Directions

1Place the wet ingredients (the second list) in the blender.

3Mix the wet stuff in a bowl with the dry stuff.

4Don't overmix.

5Bake in a loaf tin or a 20cm round cake tin at 180 degrees Celcius for 40 minutes.

6Dust with icing sugar to serve.
