  • 2 1/4 2 1/4 cups Robin Hood Nutri Flour Blend or 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons smooth applesauce
  • 1 1/4 cups skim milk or 1 1/4 cups milk

Directions

    whisk together the dry ingredients in one bowl, and the wet in another.

    cook in a greased, preheated waffle iron.

    top with maple syrup, caramel sauce, or whipped cream.
