Glazed Brie

  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. whiskey or brandy
  • 14 oz. round Brie cheese (5-inch diameter)
  • apple wedges, grapes and crackers
  • lemon juice

Directions

    In small bowl, stir together the sugar, nuts and whiskey or brandy.

    Place cheese on ovenproof platter or 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 500° for 4 to 5 minutes, or until slightly softened. Sprinkle top of cheese with sugar mixture.

    Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer, until sugar is melted and cheese is heated through.

    Brush apple with lemon juice.

    Serve with apples, grapes and crackers.
