- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 2 egg whites, at room temperature
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 4 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Beat egg whites with water until foamy.

2Gradually add sugar and rest of ingredients except pecans.

3Beat until thick, but not stiff.

4Add nuts, stirring gently.

5Pour out onto cookie sheet, lined with foil, then greased.

6Bake at 250° for 1 hour, until lightly browned.

7Remove from foil immediately.

8Place on waxed paper.

9Separate nuts with fork.

10When cool, store in tightly sealed container.
