  • 1 pound potatoes cooked, mashed
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon basil dried
  • 1/4 cup liquid egg substitute
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 cup flour, all-purpose
  • 2 cups flour, all-purpose

    Put potatoes, pepper, salt, basil and flour in mixing bin and mix for one minute.

    Slowly add butter.

    Add additional flour 1 tablespoon at a time to keep the dough extruding.

    Cut into 1 inch pieces.

    Because this is a thicker pasta (dumplings), it will take longer to cook.

    Cook in 6 qts of boiling water.

    Test for firmness (about 5 minutes).
