  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 1 c. sour milk
  • 1 c. boiling water

Directions

    Cream together sugar, Crisco and eggs.

    Sift together flour, soda, salt and cocoa; add butter and add sour milk and water.

    Add water last.

    Drop on ungreased cookie sheet; bake at 450° for about 5 minutes.
