- 3/4 to 1 c. wild rice
- 12 oz. Jimmy Dean sausage
- 3/4 c. green pepper
- 3/4 c. onion
- 1/2 c. celery
- 2 oz. mushrooms
- 1 small jar pimento (optional)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. American cheese
Directions

1Soak wild rice overnight.

2Brown sausage; drain off fat.

3Mix with rice.

4Add green pepper, onion, chopped celery, sliced mushrooms and pimento.

5Mix in cream of chicken and mushroom soup. Mix well; pour into a 2-quart casserole dish.

6Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

7Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, covered.
