  • 1 1/2 c. quick oats
  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 300°.

    Pour oats into a large shallow baking pan.

    Combine sugar, oil, water, cinnamon and salt.

    Stir into oats and mix well.

    Spread evenly in pan.

    Bake at 300° for 30 minutes or until lightly toasted, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven.

    Cool; store in a tightly covered container.
