Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c. crisp rice cereal
  • 1 c. quick rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. raisins or mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    In large bowl combine cereal, oats and raisins; set aside. In small saucepan combine brown sugar, corn syrup and honey. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in peanut butter and vanilla, blending until smooth.

    Pour over cereal mixture; mix well.

    If using chocolate chips, wait a few minutes before adding (otherwise they'll melt!).

    Pour into ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Cool; cut into bars.
