Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 c. oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. whole wheat
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3/4 c. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. nuts

    Beat 2 eggs.

    Add melted or room-softened butter, honey and vanilla.

    Add dry to wet ingredients stirring only until well blended.

    Add chocolate chips, raisins and nuts. Chopped dates may be used instead of raisins.

    Bake in greased 9 x 13 pan at 350° for 25-30 minutes. Cut into bars while warm.
