  • 1 jar grape leaves
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 2 c. Uncle Ben's rice
  • 2 lb. ground lamb
  • 2 lb. lamb bones
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Mix rice, tomatoes, ground lamb, salt and pepper altogether. Set aside.

    Take lamb bones and spread around the bottom of kettle.
  3. 3
    Take grape leaves, one at a time, and lay flat.
  4. 4
    Scoop a spoon of rice mixture on leaf.
  5. 5
    Roll up tight and place on top of lamb bones.

    Cover the pan of leaves with part water and part tomatoes.

    Cover and cook until done, 25 to 30 minutes.
