Grapefruit Brulee

  • 1 pink grapefruit
  • 1 teaspoon apricot preserves, divided
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon, divided
  • 2 stevia, packets

    Preheat the broiler to high with the rack 6 inched below the element.

    Slice the grapefruit in half.

    Loosen the segments with a knife or grapefruit spoon.

    Discard the seeds.

    Pat the top of each half with a paper towel to absorb some of the juice.

    Spread half of the preserves on each half of the grapefruit.

    Sprinkle the cinnamon and stevia on top.

    Place the grapefruits on a jelly-roll pan and place under the broiler for 3 minutes.

    Watch it carefully so that it doesn't burn.
