  • 3 stalks celery, 1/2-inch diced
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3/4 c. chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans green beans, cut and drained
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp. sesame seed

Directions

    Saute celery until tender-crisp.

    Combine the cornstarch with the chicken broth and soy sauce.

    Add to celery and cook, stirring until translucent and thickened.

    Add beans and sliced water chestnuts, if desired, and heat through.

    Add sliced scallions (green onions) and sesame seed.
