  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. green bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 1 lb. can green beans

Directions

    Fry bacon and drain, then add the onion and bell pepper to the bacon drippings and cook until tender.

    Add the flour, brown sugar, sauce, salt, pepper, mustard and tomatoes to the onion and peppers and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

    Add the green beans and top with the crumbled bacon.

    Heat.
