- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 lb. green beans, washed and cut into 1 1/2-inch lengths
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 tsp. dill weed
- 4 plum tomatoes, chopped
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper towel.

2Brown onion in bacon fat.

3Stir in chicken broth and beans and dill weed, simmer, covered, for 35 minutes.

4Add tomatoes and bacon, heat 5 minutes.
