  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can sodium-free tomatoes, drained
  • 1 (4 oz.) can whole green chili peppers, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce (optional)

Directions

    In a blender container or food processor bowl, place tomatoes, chili peppers, onion, garlic and hot pepper sauce, if desired. Cover and blend or process about 5 seconds or until combined, but still chunky.

    Serve at room temperature or transfer to a small saucepan and heat just until warm.
