- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper
- 2 pieces celery, chopped
- 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing
Directions

1Cook peas, unseasoned, then drain.

2In frypan, cook onions and celery in butter until tender.

3Add water chestnuts that have been drained and sliced very thin.

4Add soup, flour and peas.

5Mix all together and heat on the top of stove.

6Add salt and pepper to taste.

7Pour into casserole dish and cover with dressing mix. Bake at 350° until brown, about 15 minutes.

8Serves 6 to 8.
