- 1 lb. chuck or round steak
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1 c. green onions, sliced
- 1 c. red and green peppers, cut
- 3 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 2 tomatoes, cut
Directions

1Cut steak into thin strips.

2Combine sauce and ginger.

3Add beef; toss and set aside.

4Leave an hour or more.

5Prepare vegetables.

6Heat oil in frying pan or wok.

7Add beef and toss over high heat until browned.

8If not tender, cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes over low heat.

9Turn heat up and add vegetables. Toss until vegetables are tender and crisp, about 10 minutes.

10Mix cornstarch with water; add to pan.

11Stir and cook until thick. Add tomatoes and heat through.
