- 2 c. uncooked rice
- 4 c. boiling water
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. oleo or butter
- 1/4 c. minced parsley
- 1 c. chopped, blanched almonds
Directions

1Combine rice, water, salt and oleo and cook in tightly covered saucepan over low heat for 30 minutes without removing cover.

2Add parsley and almonds and toss lightly with a fork.

3Good with chicken or roast gravy.
