  • 6 medium-sized romaine lettuce leaves, torn
  • 1/2 c. parsley, torn
  • 3/4 c. purple (Chinese) cabbage, slivered
  • 1/2 c. celery, sliced diagonally
  • 2 or 3 red onions rings, sliced very thin
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced lengthwise
  • olive oil to taste
  • lemon juice to taste

    Prepare greens in a salad bowl; add celery and toss.

    Garnish with onion and avocado.

    Add olive oil and lemon juice or other favorite dressing.
