- 4 large heads romaine lettuce, halved lengthwise
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- Juice of 3 lemons
Directions

1Preheat a grill to medium high.

2Drizzle the lettuce with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

3Place the lettuce cut-side down on the grill and cook until grill marks appear, about 2 minutes.

4Rotate 45 degrees and cook until crosshatch marks appear, about 2 more minutes.

5Transfer to a platter, drizzle with the lemon juice and serve immediately.
