  • 1 c. grits, cooked according to pkg. directions
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Add all ingredients to cooked grits, except the eggs, milk and 3/4 cup of the cheese. Cool the grit mixture for a few minutes. Beat in the eggs and milk. Pour into a buttered casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
