  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. finely chopped gumdrops of assorted flavors (except licorice flavor; 6 oz.)
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Orange Icing

Directions

    Thoroughly mix flour, gumdrops and pecans; set aside. Beat eggs with water until foamy. Gradually add brown sugar, beating until light. Beat in cinnamon and salt. Stir in gumdrop mixture. Spread mixture evenly in greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch baking pan. Bake at 375° until done, 15 to 20 minutes. While still warm, spread with Orange Icing and cut into 2-inch squares. Remove from pan. Garnish with sliced gumdrops, if desired. Makes about 3 dozen.
