Haddock Baked With Cheese

  • 2 tsp. minced onion
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. fine American cheese

Directions

    Thaw fillets just enough to separate, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in greased shallow baking pan.

    Saute minced onion in butter until delicately browned. Add salt, pepper and cheese; toss together lightly to mix.

    Spread mixture over fillets, pressing down firmly.

    Pour 1/2-cup milk around fish and bake in hot oven (400°) for 35 minutes or until done.

    Makes 3 or 4 servings.
